Captain Dean Panos on the Double D
Won 1st Place in the Islamorada Swordfish Tournament!

"Winning a swordfish tournament is one of my highlights for the year, and that could not be done without the help ands support of my sponsors. I would like to especially thank TR-1. As a captain your responsibility is your crew and vessel, and staying focused so you can gain every odd to help you win a tournament. This year, at the Islamorada Swordfish Tournament, the bite was substantially farther than in years past. After an entire night of fishing and the weigh-in at 5:30 in the morning, everyone was tired. Everyone but my TR-1. With the TR-1 doing the steering, I could concentrate on getting us back safely. I plotted my course and let the TR-1 take us home and takes us to the winners circle. Thanks TR-1 ! "

Captain Al Cumbie, Channel Master Sport Fishing Charters,
St Augustine, FL

Al placed 8th in the final standings for the top 20 Aggregate in the 26th Annual BellSouth Greater Jacksonville Kingfish Tournament July 17-22, 2006.

"I use the TR-1 Gladiator every day of week whether I'm fishing a tournament or out on a chartered trip. I'm so impressed with its performance, I wouldn't own any other autopilot. It's so easy to use, and I love the ability to fish hands free. The autopilot works flawlessly at low speeds, something no other autopilot I've ever owned could do. The TR-1 Gladiator is a fantastic breakthrough in the technology of Autopilots."

Grove Harbour Rodeo Fishing Tournament

"The TR-1 Gladiator allows me to concentrate more on bait presentation and fishing, and less on steering the boat. The Gladiator gets me to my destination easily and the unique fishing patterns help me find and stay with the fish, I say, let TR-1 take control of the boat and I'll take control of fishing."

April 17-21, 2006

I want to take this opportunity to thank TR-1 for jumping on board this year. …I just returned from Key West where our team won, First Place Boat, Top Overall Captain and Top Overall Angler in the World Sailfish Championship. This is the largest sailfish tournament in the United States, and probably worldwide. After two long weeks of pre-fishing unfamiliar grounds and grueling preparation, all of our hard work truly paid off with this amazing achievement. While my head is still spinning; phones are ringing and emails are coming in left and right; it is time to thank my sponsors that help make this possible. We couldn't do it without you!

"My Gladiator does it all. The Gladiator holds my boat in position as I back troll for bait or fish over a wreck. With the Gladiator I can troll into the wind on one engine while kite fishing. The TR-1 Gladiator is easy to use, especially with the wireless remote, and certainly outperforms all other autopilots I've ever used."
